Welcome
St. Alban's Chapel and Episcopal University Center is open to anyone looking for a place to pray. We especially welcome all LSU Students, faculty, and staff and structure programs and ministries to serve the LSU community. Our mission here is to present the classic Christian faith with all its depth, beauty and power. Since 1929, this chapel provided a setting in which to meet friends and to maintain a growing relationship with God. We seek to live and to present the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in an environment of reverent worship, open inquiry, intellectual challenge, and spiritual honesty. Please join us!

Mission
As a University Mission of the Episcopal Diocese of Louisiana, our goal is to present and be the evangelical presence of the Good News of Jesus Christ on the campus and in the community. We hope to do this through reverent worship, open intellectual inquiry and friendship.

Our 6:00 Sunday Evening Contemplative Worship Service is offered every Sunday night (except Christmas and Easter). Our chapel space naturally lends itself to a "quiet" and "laid-back" sort of worship experience. The service is designed with LSU students in mind. The choir is made up of students; the preaching is focused on issues common to both undergraduate and graduate students; the service runs less than an hour. Join us and get the week off to a great start!

Everyone is invited to remain after the 6:00 service for socializing and a fabulous, home-cooked meal free of charge.
