Welcome

Come as you are. All are welcome at God’s table

Whether you’re new to LSU, new to Baton Rouge, or simply seeking a spiritual home, we’re so glad you’ve found us.

At St. Alban’s, you’ll discover a welcoming community where faith, friendship, and service come together in the Episcopal tradition.

Our pews hold students discovering their callings, faculty balancing life and work, families nurturing children in faith, and community members seeking a place of belonging.

We come together to worship, to grow, and to serve—trusting that God meets each of us right where we are.

What To Expect

Our Sunday worship follows the beauty and rhythm of the Book of Common Prayer, blending Scripture, prayer, music, and sacrament in the Episcopal tradition.

We celebrate Holy Communion each week, and all baptized Christians are welcome to receive. You’re also welcome to come forward for a blessing if you prefer.

There’s no dress code—some arrive in jeans, others in their Sunday best. What matters most is that you’re here.

After the service, we gather in the Common Hall for coffee and fellowship. It’s an easy, friendly way to meet others and feel at home.

Getting Involved

We believe faith grows in community. Whether you’re drawn to worship, service, study, or simply good conversation, there’s a place for you here.
