Our Chaplain

I am overjoyed to be called to serve as Chaplain at St. Alban's!
Throughout the discernment process, the Appointment Committee, shepherded by Gayla Carey, demonstrated a love for the parish that was second-to-none. They embodied genuine care and attention, offered warmth and Louisiana's finest hospitality, and engaged in meaningful conversations. Their creative energy and heart for service was apparent from the start, generating excitement about the prospect of leading the next season of ministry at St. Alban's.

I am particularly drawn to the unique opportunity to both pastor a multi-generational flock and help guide the spiritual journeys of L.S.U. students, faculty, and staff. I am also excited about partnering with the robust ministries of the congregation, specifically the recharge! service, Lunches with C. S. Lewis, and other worship and formation offerings. I look forward to growing together in faith, strengthening our prayer life and spiritual disciplines, and bolstering our mission to serve the campus community. We are also thrilled to be joining a dynamic and supportive diocese, as demonstrated by the stellar leadership of Bishop Shannon and Canon Morgan throughout the call process.

Hillary, Felix (12), Beatrix (8), and I are eager to make our way to Baton Rouge and get to know the St. Alban's family! We would appreciate your prayers during this transition, and will continue to keep you all in our prayers.

Faithfully,

Father Brandon
