Our Chaplain

 

Fr. Drew has served as the chaplain of St. Alban's since the summer of 2004.  He did his undergraduate work in English at the University of the South, Sewanee (class of '86). 

 

After serving as a youth minister at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church in his hometown of Richmond, VA for five years, he left to pursue deep thoughts and drink espresso at Virginia Theological Seminary (class of '95).  He served as the associate rector of Trinity Church in New Orleans from 1995-2004 focusing on ministry to those in their 20's and 30's and attending Jazz Fest nine times.  Drew is married to Jeanie Randolph Rollins and they have five children: David, John, Catherine, Margaret , and Helen. 

 

In his free time, he enjoys playing bluegrass banjo, ultimate frisbee, and fishing for speckled trout and redfish.
